Stripers are going nuts for top waters in Newport if you get out there in the morning. I haven't tried at night but I hear that's good, too. | |

I'm not so sure about Mt hope bay but I have been getting some good sized ones in Newport, just off the Navy base, for the last week or so. If there not there yet, they will be soon. | |

I have had really good luck with YUM buzz frogs, black ones. They can't seem to leave them alone both in clear water and around weeds and lilly pads. Good luck! | |
